I am writing to you following the successful auction of my property at The Carlisle, Emily Place, Auckland Central in September. Diane Jackson and Julie Prince conducted a superb marketing programme over a 3-weekend period. From the first meeting to the successful sale of our flat both Diane and Julie were absolutely wonderful! Not having sold by auction before we were both a little unsure of the process. However the order of events was explained in simple straightforward terms that immediately put us at rest. The advertising was very well organized in advance through all the usual mediums and then there was a busy three week period of open houses. Throughout this time we were given on a weekly basis very precise reports on who had viewed the property, what their thoughts were (good and bad) and through this elimination process this enabled us to weed out time wasters and serious buyers. The day before the auction we were introduced to the auctioneer who yet again explained in layman’s terms the running order of events and the legal obligations involved for all parties, which yet again set our minds at rest. Naturally on the day we were a little on edge to say the least, however between Diane and Julie they’ve seen enough auctions to last a small lifetime so they know all the right words to calm your nerves. The auction was successful and the after sales care was excellent too, you don’t feel like a number pushed through the machine and forgotten! So once again ladies thank you for all your efforts!!
